The information arm of Bo Gritz' Center for Action is the national Newsletter. For more than ten years it was published monthly, but more recently, with the aid of good friend Richard Flowers, it has come out bi-monthly. Below you will find excerpts from past issues, to give you the reader some flavor of it's content.

PHANTOM ARMY

See if you can identify the global superpower described: 709.000 regular military personnel; 293,000 reserve troops; Eight Army Divisions; 20 Air Force and Navy Air Wings with 2,000 Tactical Combat Aircraft; 232 Strategic Bombers; 13 Strategic Ballistic Missile Submarines with 3,114 Nuclear Warheads on 232 Missiles; 500 ICBMs with 1,950 Warheads; Four Aircraft Carriers; 121 Surface Combat Ships and Submarines. Give up? The military strength above represents the cuts by the Clinton Administration to the Armed Forces of the once great U.S.A.!

VANISHING SOLDIERS: The U.S. Army is offering a $6,000 cash bonus for enlistments, while the USAF has 2,400 empty pilot seats, and the USN has resorted to rapper Spike Lee for its recruiting ads. USA TODAY, 30 September edition, quotes a GAO study that 75% of the Navy’s technical specialists are getting out. Overall (in all services) 62% said they will not re-enlist. The American military is in a death spiral that will only tighten every day Clinton remains in office. Rudyard Kipling chronicled the abuse of the British "Tommys." Today’s American Military is no better off and in rapid disrepair! Our soldiers are as mindful as the Redcoats were about the erosion of morale due to extreme failure in the critical area of leadership at the highest levels. It used to be that commanders put their butts on the line to protect the men; now the men are put on the line to protect the commander’s butt. Officers used to be professional soldiers first, who commanded respect; now they are politicians first, who pray not to be given a wedgy!

STEP-N-FETCH: With the problem of politicians in uniform, corruption is as commonplace in our system today as it used to be in third world countries. Poor medical services, housing, and pay, plague all ranks below colonel. The PX used to have bargains for soldiers with little money, but now you get better prices at Wal-Mart! A large percentage of enlisted men are on food-stamps at a time when the President’s pay was doubled and Congress voted itself a $4,600 raise. Setting our Armed Forces up as "Step-and-Fetch" global police with ever increasing missions for the 185 nation coalition of the UN has placed an unbearable burden on our manpower and materials, running both into the ground.

TIRED EQUIPMENT: Association of the U.S. Army lists the following statistics: The average age of our first-line fighter and ground attack aircraft is 20 years; our reserves are much older. Our CH-53 helicopters are so old they require 38-hours of maintenance for every hour of flight! The Army OH-58s are older than the pilots who fly them, and replacements are more than seven-years out. The B-52, the backbone of our bomber fleet, will be 75-years old when retired. By the year 2010, America’s military will be a rag tag worn out has-been force.

DOWN PERISCOPE: While our fighting strength is expended by the United Nations, Clinton’s "Gay-Berets" continue top focus on nonsensical issues such as accommodating women into our Silent Service. Submarines are currently the only vessels off-limits to females. It cost $5,000 per female bunk on surface ships and more than $200,000 to modify subs to take on women. Politically correct bureau-rats haven’t come to grips yet with how pregnant sea-women will be evacuated from under the Arctic ice - U.S. nuclear subs go to sea for more than six-months and remain submerged for up to 70-days.

ANTHRAX MUTINY: Something major weird is going on with the Anthrax inoculations! The last day of September, 15 pilots of the Tennessee Air Guard joined a rapidly growing mutiny of uniformed personnel refusing to take Anthrax shots. Clinton’s insistence is a mystery. Secretary of the Army Louis Caldera has stated that the shots pose a major health risk. The shots will not safeguard anyone against Anthrax used as a bio-weapon - there are too many strains. Recipients report illness as a direct result and insurance carriers are warning commercial air crews against the shots.

It used to be that just prior to deployment, personnel involved would receive medication to ward off disease common in a target area. Most likely, the USG is using the Anthrax program to cover-up something more they have done, or know will happen to America’s Armed Forces, e.g., Armageddon, insertion of a PILD (locator chip), major experimentation, etc.

Considering the Army’s admissions to dropping the poison, Cadnium Sulfide, over 40 states east of the Rock Mountains, nerve gassing sheep in Montana, and scores of other human experiments, can any possibility be excluded. One fact is certain: more and more uniformed personnel no longer believe the Coward-in-Chief. You can give Dirty Bill a piece of your mind by calling 202-456-1111.
