The information arm of Bo Gritz' Center for Action is the national Newsletter. For more than ten years it was published monthly, but more recently, with the aid of good friend Richard Flowers, it has come out bi-monthly. Below you will find excerpts from past issues, to give you the reader some flavor of it's content.

BIRDS OF A FEATHER

What do Ruby Ridge, Waco, the Oklahoma City bombing, and TWA 800 have in common besides tragedy? Could it be that they are all attributable to criminal action within the federal government? There is no question that the murder of Sammy and Vicki Weaver, and death of U.S. Marshal William Degan, began with BATF, then USMS, and finally FBI abuse. Janet Reno paid Sara, Rachel, and Elisheba $3.2-million in compensation. Is there any doubt that the BATF precipitated the holocaust that consumed the Branch Dividian? I’ve informed you via radio and this Newsletter for years that Delta Force was part of the FBI-HRT organization at Waco. Finally, a special investigator, John Danforth, has been appointed to uncover the truth. I also told you exactly how TWA-800 fell victim to a Navy missile test run amok. My latest information points to yet another BATF gaff of cataclysmic proportions.

AN IMPOSSIBLE DAY: Randall Yount was a neighbor boy who learned to ride my scooter and appreciate my Grandmom. Randy never left Oklahoma and was serving as a State Ranger in Oklahoma City on the day the Alfred Murrah Federal Building was destroyed along with 169 human beings. Within moments Randy Yount was on the scene. He worked more than three-hours until relieved as part of a team recovering BATF munitions. You will find Randy’s testimony most enlightening: "I helped ATF and other agents carry firearms, grenades, cases of ammunition and 12 wooden crates containing shoulder fired missiles out of the basement and into white vans. I was told there had been 1,200 lbs of C-4 plastic explosives in a vault in the basement that had exploded. I heard many other things than would have never been said, except everyone was in shock. It was an impossible day!"

As a Special Forces demolitionist, I used to know the formula for "Proximity Detonation" which occurs when a fired charge is close enough to set off unprimed explosives in the area. The problem with the OKC blast has always been the amount of damage done by a slow-moving 4,000-lb fertilizer-fuel oil bomb. A young Army Engineer sent me calculations using the latest military formulas for Ammonium-Nitrate showing it would require some 75,000-lbs to do that much destruction. For a time I thought to attribute the extreme damage to a special shape-charge technique, until one of the professionals at the site confided that the internal supports had been taken out from the inside. To accept internal charging greatly complicates the equation of conspirators. A team of sappers with access to the basement would have to coordinate their effort with the truck-team. Imagine the threat of exposure to those transporting and preparing explosives in the basement.

The BATF is not allowed to warehouse explosives, but they do. Considerable training with truck bombs was documented before the OKC attack. It is entirely probable that the BATF did have 1,400 lbs of Composition-4 in their basement cache that went off in conjunction with the external bomb. Whether or not it was intentional isn’t really the point. If federal agents had munitions stored in the basement that magnified the truck bomb, they are criminally liable!

When Jack Danforth finishes with the Waco-FBI debacle, he should re-look OKC from Randall Yount’s point of view. Don’t expect too much from the former Republican Senator, he is a longtime member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Trilateral. We can expect him to do as his predecessors - throw a lot of dust in the air without much real digging.
